Co-op Community Spaces

Heritage Co-op is pleased to announce that the Co-op Community Spaces program is back again this year. This program offers $25,000-$150,000 in funding to community projects across Western Canada, up to a total of one million dollars.

Applications will be accepted between February 1st  March 1st, 2021 and may be accessed through the Community Spaces website. Grants are available to projects that will help improve community health and well being by building places for Western Canadians to come together and build social connections. Three types of projects will be considered for funding: recreation, environmental conservation and urban agriculture.

Since 2015, the program has provided over $350,000.00 to 5 projects right here in our trading area including:
- New Era School Community Garden - Brandon, MB
- East End Community Centre Rink Upgrades - Brandon, MB
- Beach Playground Enhancement - Minnedosa, MB
- MBFI Learning Centre - Brandon, MB
- Riverbank Discovery Centre Festival Park - Brandon, MB
